A high-spec timber frame, warm roof construction with brick outer leaf with a low design air permeability due to the use of a combined heating, hot water and ventilation system, NIBE F730 Exhaust Air Heat Pump.

Services Provided: Ventilation Commissioning and Air Tightness Consultancy

We were instructed to commission the Centralised Mechanical Extract Ventilation System. This formed part of the Exhaust Air Heat Pump. Required minimum flows rates were calculated to be 25 litres per second over two extract terminal points within the Kitchen area and Bathroom. Compliance was achieved on our first inspection, with a 75% set fan speed, terminals adjusted and locked off.

The SAP Assessor had scoped a design air permeability of 3.0. Our completion testing result was a 1.8. Fully complaint. Pass first time.
